To have a healthy body is good but to own a good figure is a bonus one has to work.  With the lifestyle we have nowadays, we are too busy to think of what we should be eating to keep a healthy body  so we end up buying “ready to go” foods or eat in a fast food chain, not thinking how much calories it gives us. Then boom, comes a day when we feel and look heavy.  You should be worried it might lead to obesity and some illness you wouldn’t want to have. It’s about time you take control of what you should and shouldn’t be eating and what should and shouldn’t be doing.

Other than food diet, people sort out to some medical procedures just to lose weight and have a good figure.  Surgical procedure may be an option yet there are ways on how to lose weight in short time without spending too much.  Considering your lifestyle, caloric intake and output, exercise and self discipline, you can now handle weight gain problem.  Remember, greater calorie intake (fats, carbohydrates, etc) than your output (in a form of sweat or regular waste excretion), will lead you to weight gain.  So what we have to do is to sort things out for us to have a solution in your weight problem.

  1. Have a healthy lifestyle: avoid smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages.
  2. Exercise regularly.  Twenty to thirty minutes of jogging or any form of cardio exercise everyday (an hour after heavy meal or 30 minutes of light meal) will help you burn calories, and aid to have a regular bowel movement.

  1. Have a regular bowel movement; this will help you excrete toxic waste from your body.
  2. Have a stress management. Some studies say that having a stressful life is one factor that slows down the metabolism of a person.  Slow metabolism means slow weight reduction.
  3. Do not take bunch of food after 5 pm, or some call it after 6 diet.  We are not saying not to eat anything after 6 but avoid eating heavy foods, especially fatty or carbo foods. Remember during night, we have fewer activities and thus metabolism is also slow.  Eating bunch of carbo- rich and fatty food helps you store fats.
  4. Drink plenty of water. Don’t ever let yourself feel thirsty because it means you’re dehydrating.  Water makes wonders in keeping down your weight.
  5. Have enough sleep or rest.
  6. Most important is self discipline. Doing this seven steps will really help you attain the body you want and you need.
