Bulimia up-close

Bulimia is an eating disorder which also permeates weight loss in the process. Some people are engaging to this activity after excessive eating or emotional breakdown. The tendency is that a person who suffers such disorder tends to eat and consumes more calories as the need arises or in their case as the emotions breaks, some are recorded to May able to consume 2000 to 5000 calories all in one sitting! Bulimic person does not want to be fat in fact it rages to become thin. For them, their self-worth is valued on how less they weigh, for them forcing food out is their weight loss plan.

Bulimic people do not gain weight even after a frantic food intake. They lose weight drastically using unnatural measures which includes purging food. Bulimic literally forces food out from their body by putting their fist inside which leads to uncomfortable process of vomiting. Other measures they usually take involves crash dieting. They tend to fast and skip meals for a day or more for as long as the feeling of guilt from eating much subsides. This vicious cycle: of eating more when they feel bad and purging or fasting more when they feel guilty from eating much, just goes on and on which then affects their way of living.

Bulimic person may lose weight fast however they will not be able to stop even if they stopped wanting to, this is why initial phase of a bulimic person should be treated. They need to get back in track, engage to weight loss programs to help them manage their weights without undermining the healthy part of living. The body cannot withdraw that easily especially if your body has been forced to do a thing which then becomes naturally in time. The human body has the tendency to adopt, which is if you do not feed your body for a time, your body will manage to work around and make use of existing resource to function. If you have no fats available then your body will use the next best thing which is your muscle. Thus bulimic people end up with literal skin and bones. With them losing weight is no longer an induced practice as it used to start with. It will continually happen thus making them weak and unhealthy.
